Advik in Bangalore seeks a Senior Officer (Store-Inward) to oversee material receipt, storage and issue. You will ensure accurate records, GRN creation, and compliance with SOPs in a busy inward store.

The role requires 4–6 years in automotive inward stores, strong knowledge of inventory controls, and hands-on SAP MM/PP experience. It offers a stable, full-time position in a growing manufacturing environment.

• Graduate or diploma with 4–6 years in automotive store/inward handling.
• Knowledge of inventory control and ERP/SAP MM module.
• Experience with GRN, SOPs and material documentation.
• Familiarity with FIFO, QA clearance and vendor payments.

Responsabilidades

• Issue materials using bar coding and maintain FIFO.
• Handle rejections and vendor debit notes with 100% quantity checks.
• Support internal/external audits and prepare daily MIS.

Job Purpose:

Material receipt, storage and issue as per norms and requirements shared. Ensure proper upkeep of material without any damages/losses.

Principal Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

1. Receipt of Material and Storage

Material Receipt, Record keeping, loading/unloading, Quantity checking & verifying with PO and Bills/ Invoices.

Keep records of inward and outwards of material.

Keep inward material after QA clearance inside the store as per identified location.

Make GRN, Service entry of bills & DMS timely to avoid delaying vendor payment.

Ensure to adhere inward activities as per SOP.

Ensure storage of all material as per storage norms

Maintain accuracy of BOP & NON BOM parts. (System Vs Actual.)

2. Issue of Material

Ensure issuance happens as per bar coding system

Maintain the FIFO at the time of material issuance.

3. Managing Rejections

Raise the vendor debit note and send the rejection on timely.

Ensure before sending the vendor rejection 100 % counting of material and that there is not mix up of rejected material of another vendor

4. Documentation and other activities

Participation in Internal & External audit and prevent any NC from customer side Prepare the MIS on daily basis.

Work as per DWM

Make RGP /NRGP & delivery challan as per SOP and closely monitoring with concern dept. to close the same

Adhere the monthly PIV plan

Handle the hazardous material receiving and storage activity.
