Job summary

Team Computers is seeking a Desktop Engineer L1 to join our IT support team in India. You will provide frontline desktop and end-user support, install and configure PCs, printers, and peripherals, and resolve common hardware/software issues. Hand over to L2 for unresolved problems and maintain asset records.

You will work on Windows OS, MS Office 365, and Active Directory tasks, including password resets and user management, while ensuring tickets meet SLA timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 desktop and end-user technical support.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Install and support Windows operating systems and standard desktop applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues.
• Provide support for MS Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Assist with user account management, password resets, and Active Directory-related issues.
• Create, update, and resolve IT support tickets within defined SLAs.
• Support LAN, Wi-Fi, and basic internet connectivity issues.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and update relevant documentation.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to the L2 support team.
