Job summary

HaritasH Mobility in Agra is seeking a capable Workshop Job Controller to efficiently plan, allocate, monitor and control workshop jobs, ensuring optimum utilization of technicians and timely delivery.

You will coordinate with service advisers, technicians, spare parts, and the workshop manager, maintain real-time job status, and ensure OEM standards and company SOPs are followed to deliver quality vehicle service.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience as a Job Controller or similar automobile workshop role.
• Freshers with relevant automobile knowledge may be considered.
• Good understanding of workshop operations and vehicle servicing processes.
• Basic knowledge of DMS/CRM and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate workshop jobs to technicians based on skill and priority.
• Monitor progress of vehicles under repair and update status.
• Ensure timely completion of jobs as per defined Turnaround Time (TAT).
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Spare Parts and Workshop Manager.
• Maintain real-time status of vehicles and job cards.
• Prepare and update daily workshop job schedules and reports.
• Identify delays and bottlenecks and take corrective action.
• Ensure availability of required parts, tools and equipment.
• Monitor technician productivity and workshop bay utilization.
• Verify job-card details and vehicle information in DMS/CRM.
• Ensure repair work follows OEM standards and SOPs.
• Coordinate for quality inspection and final vehicle readiness before delivery.
• Follow up on pending jobs and ensure timely vehicle movement through the workshop.
• Support Service Advisors with accurate job status updates to customers.
• Maintain workshop documentation and MIS reports.

Job Purpose

To efficiently plan, allocate, monitor and control workshop jobs, ensuring optimum utilization of technicians and workshop resources, timely vehicle delivery, accurate job-card management and high customer satisfaction.
