Job summary

Pagaar India is seeking an experienced workshop operations professional to oversee daily activities, allocate technicians, and ensure timely, quality service for commercial vehicles. The role emphasizes managing spare parts, warranty processes, and customer satisfaction while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will lead a team of technicians, train staff on updated service procedures, and collaborate with the parts department to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in commercial vehicle workshop or service operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of Ashok Leyland vehicles and repair processes.
• Proven experience in managing a team of technicians and workshop staff.

• Ensure timely and quality repair and maintenance of all vehicles brought in for service.
• Manage spare parts inventory in coordination with the parts department to avoid delays.
• Handle warranty claims, documentation and coordination with Ashok Leyland for approvals.
• Monitor workshop productivity, turnaround time and customer satisfaction scores.
• Train and mentor technicians on the latest service procedures and safety standards.
• Resolve customer complaints related to service quality in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness and adherence to manufacturer service standards.
