Educohire is seeking a technically skilled L1 Network Infrastructure & IT Support Executive for a premium luxury hospitality property in Uttarakhand. You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day IT operations, supporting guest Wi-Fi, IP cameras, and IP telephony with hands-on networking tasks.

The role requires practical networking skills, calm troubleshooting, and willingness to work in rotational 12-hour shifts with 24/7 coverage. Accommodation is provided in-house.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./BCA/B.Tech or 3-year diploma in relevant fields as listed.
• 02 years of experience in Desktop Support, Field Network Engineering or IT Helpdesk.
• Freshers with strong hands-on networking skills may apply.
• CCNA/CompTIA Network+ or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for guest Wi-Fi, connectivity, and devices.
• Attend guest and internal user IT complaints promptly and professionally.
• Perform routine checks of network racks, switches, UPS, access points.
• Conduct hands-on network tasks: RJ45 crimping, Cat6 terminations, testing.
• Trace and troubleshoot physical network faults and connectivity issues.
• Replace faulty network hardware as needed and maintain CCTV health checks.

Role Summary

A premium luxury hospitality property at Mohaan, Uttarakhand is looking for a technically skilled and disciplined L1 Network Infrastructure & IT Support Executive to serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day IT operations.

The role involves hands-on support for network connectivity, guest Wi-Fi, computers, printers, IP cameras, IP telephony, and other IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a hospitality environment, possess strong practical networking skills, and be able to troubleshoot technical issues calmly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for guest Wi-Fi, connectivity, captive portal, telephone, and other technology-related issues.
• Attend to guest and internal user complaints promptly and professionally.
• Conduct routine physical checks of network racks, switches, UPS systems, access points, and other IT infrastructure.
• Perform hands-on network tasks such as RJ45 crimping, Cat6 cable termination, I/O port punching, and LAN cable testing.
• Trace and troubleshoot physical network faults and connectivity issues.
• Replace faulty network switches, Wi-Fi access points, telephones, and other hardware when required.
• Conduct regular health checks of IP CCTV cameras and troubleshoot offline cameras.
• Assist with IP telephony and RJ11/RJ45 line connectivity.
• Maintain daily digital records of IT complaints, troubleshooting activities, and hardware replacements.
• Follow established IT SOPs and elevate critical network outages promptly to the technical support team.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all data security and CCTV access protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. in IT/Computer Science, BCA, B.Tech. in ECE/CSE, or 3-Year Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics & Communication.
• 02 years of experience in Desktop Support, Field Network Engineering, IT Helpdesk, or Hotel IT Support.
• Freshers with strong practical hands‑on networking skills may also apply.
• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent Hardware & Networking certification will be an added advantage.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong practical knowledge of RJ45 crimping and physical network troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of IPv4, Static IP, DHCP, Subnetting, and Default Gateways.
• Familiarity with basic CLI diagnostic commands such as ping, ipconfig, tracert, and arp.
• Basic knowledge of PoE and network switches.
• Understanding of IP‑based CCTV systems and Wi‑Fi networks.
• Basic knowledge of IP telephony and hardware troubleshooting.
• Good computer hardware and desktop support skills.
