Position Overview
We are looking for a base‑level IT support professional to manage day‑to‑day IT support and coordination across hotel and real estate operations. This is a hands‑on support role, where all major implementations and complex technical work are handled by third‑party vendors. The role focuses on system monitoring, user support, coordination with vendors, and ensuring smooth IT operations across properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑level (L1) IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, POS machines, and basic network issues.
- Handle user onboarding/offboarding, system access requests, and basic troubleshooting.
- Support hotel and office staff with day‑to‑day IT issues and elevate to vendors when required.
- Maintain smooth functioning of basic IT services without business disruption.
Vendor Coordination & Follow‑ups
- Coordinate with third‑party vendors for PMS, POS, CRM systems.
- Coordinate with vendors for Network, Wi‑Fi, and internet services.
- Coordinate with vendors for CCTV, access control, and telecom systems.
- Raise tickets, track progress, and ensure timely resolution.
- Act as a single point of contact between business users and IT vendors.
Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain IT asset inventory (laptops, desktops, POS, printers, routers, etc.).
- Track asset allocation, movement, and basic lifecycle records.
- Coordinate with management for hardware purchases and replacements.
Basic Systems & Network Support
- Perform basic checks on internet connectivity, Wi‑Fi availability, and network devices (routers, switches – basic level).
- Escalate complex network or security issues to vendors.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain basic IT documentation, SOPs, and asset records.
- Ensure users follow basic IT policies and data security practices.
- Assist management during audits by sharing required IT information.
Requirements
Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of IT support, hardware, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, basic networking concepts.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and follow up on issues.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow under guidance.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–3 years in IT support / desktop support / junior IT role.
- Hospitality experience is not mandatory.
