Job summary

Comprint Tech Solutions is seeking an IT Enterprise Hardware Engineer – L2 to provide onsite field support for enterprise servers and infrastructure. The role involves hardware troubleshooting, OS-level basics, installation, maintenance and field service activities.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience with enterprise hardware, basic Windows/Linux knowledge, RAID and networking fundamentals, and strong communication skills. Travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc or equivalent IT qualification.
• CCNA or MCSE or equivalent IT qualification.
• 2–3 years of enterprise hardware experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack mount, and commission enterprise servers.
• Troubleshoot hardware components and perform replacements.
• Work with Dell, HPE, Lenovo servers and components.
• Troubleshoot CPU, RAM, storage, RAID, PSU, NIC hardware issues.
• Configure RAID and basic server hardware settings.
• BIOS/firmware upgrades and health checks.
• Basic Windows Server and Linux installation and troubleshooting.
• Network configuration of IP, DNS, Gateway and connectivity.
• Onsite field service and travel to customer locations.
• Coordinate with L3/L1 and OEM support for complex issues.
• Prepare service reports as per SOP.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an IT Hardware Engineer to provide onsite L2 support for enterprise servers and IT infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for hardware troubleshooting, basic OS-level support, installation, maintenance, and field service activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Installation, rack mounting and commissioning of enterprise servers.
• - Hardware troubleshooting and replacement of server components.
• - Basic knowledge of Dell, HPE and Lenovo servers.
• - Troubleshoot CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, RAID, PSU, NIC and other hardware issues.
• - Perform RAID configuration and basic server hardware configuration.
• - BIOS/firmware upgrade and hardware health checks.
• - Basic Windows Server and Linux OS installation and troubleshooting.
• - Configure basic IP, DNS, Gateway and network connectivity.
• - Perform server reboot, power cycle and basic diagnostic activities.
• - Follow customer SOPs and prepare service/activity reports.
• - Coordinate with L3, L1 teams and OEM support for complex issues.
• - Travel to customer locations for onsite support as required.
