Job summary

Comprint Tech Solutions in India, Delhi is seeking an IT Enterprise Hardware Engineer (L1) to provide onsite field support for enterprise servers and IT infrastructure. You will perform hardware troubleshooting, basic OS work, installation, maintenance and service reporting.

The role requires 1–2 years experience, hands-on knowledge of Dell, HPE and Lenovo servers, RAID basics, and networking. Travel to customer locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.tech /B.Sc./CCNA/MCSE or equivalent IT qualification.

Position: IT Enterprise Hardware Engineer – L1

Job Type: Field Support

Experience: 1–2 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for an IT Hardware Engineer to provide onsite L1/L2 support for enterprise servers and IT infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for hardware troubleshooting, basic OS-level support, installation, maintenance, and field service activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Installation, rack mounting and commissioning of enterprise servers.
• - Hardware troubleshooting and replacement of server components.
• - Basic knowledge of Dell, HPE and Lenovo servers.
• - Troubleshoot CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, RAID, PSU, NIC and other hardware issues.
• - Perform RAID configuration and basic server hardware configuration.
• - BIOS/firmware upgrade and hardware health checks.
• - Basic Windows Server and Linux OS installation and troubleshooting.
• - Configure basic IP, DNS, Gateway and network connectivity.
• - Perform server reboot, power cycle and basic diagnostic activities.
• - Follow customer SOPs and prepare service/activity reports.
• - Coordinate with L2/L3 teams and OEM support for complex issues.
• - Travel to customer locations for onsite support as required.

Required Skills:

• - Basic RAID and storage knowledge.
