Job summary

Comprint Tech Solutions is seeking an IT Enterprise Hardware Engineer – L3 to provide onsite field support for enterprise servers and IT infrastructure. You will perform hardware troubleshooting, OS-level basics, installation, maintenance and service reporting.

The role requires hands-on experience with server hardware, RAID and storage, as well as basic Windows/Linux administration. Travel to client sites will be required as part of field service activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise server hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Basic Windows Server and Linux knowledge for field support.
• Willingness to travel and provide onsite technical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack mount and commission enterprise servers at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot hardware, replace components and perform BIOS/firmware upgrades.
• Coordinate with L2/L1 teams and OEM support for complex issues.
• Configure basic network services (IP, DNS, gateway) and health checks.
• Prepare service/activity reports following customer SOPs.
• Travel to customer locations for onsite support as required.

Position: IT Enterprise Hardware Engineer – L3

Job Summary:

We are looking for an IT Hardware Engineer to provide onsite L3 support for enterprise servers and IT infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for hardware troubleshooting, basic OS-level support, installation, maintenance, and field service activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Installation, rack mounting and commissioning of enterprise servers.
• - Hardware troubleshooting and replacement of server components.
• - Basic knowledge of Dell, HPE and Lenovo servers.
• - Troubleshoot CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, RAID, PSU, NIC and other hardware issues.
• - Perform RAID configuration and basic server hardware configuration.
• - BIOS/firmware upgrade and hardware health checks.
• - Basic Windows Server and Linux OS installation and troubleshooting.
• - Configure basic IP, DNS, Gateway and network connectivity.
• - Perform server reboot, power cycle and basic diagnostic activities.
• - Follow customer SOPs and prepare service/activity reports.
• - Coordinate with L2, L1 teams and OEM support for complex issues.
• - Travel to customer locations for onsite support as required.

Experience with HPE ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge, Lenovo Think System, iLO/iDRAC, RAID controllers and server diagnostics
