Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an experienced IBM iSeries RPG developer to design, build, and maintain applications on the AS/400 platform in an on-site office setting in India. You will work with RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and SQL to develop robust business solutions and support DB2 for i databases.

The role involves analysis of business requirements, production support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to migrate and modernize legacy systems.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IBM iSeries / AS400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPGLE / RPG IV.
• Good knowledge of CL/CLLE, DB2 for i, SQL, and IBM i.
• Experience with IBM i development tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of DDS, ILE concepts, subfiles, job queues, and batch processing.
• Experience in application maintenance, production support, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
