Job summary

Arctic Invent in Noida seeks an IP Analyst to support filing and administration of Indian patent applications. You will coordinate end-to-end filing, manage documentation, and interact with inventors and R&D teams to ensure timely submissions.

The role requires 1–2 years of patent filing experience, familiarity with Indian Patent Office forms, and proficiency with IP databases and MS Office. Work is office-based at the Noida location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or law (preferred: B.Tech, B.Sc., or LLB).
• 1–2 years hands-on experience with Indian patent filing processes.
• Familiarity with major Indian Patent Office forms and formalities.
• Proficient in preparing and filing Forms 1, 2, 3, 5, 18, 26, and others.
• Strong understanding of the Indian patent system, timelines, and legal requirements.
• Good communication skills for working with inventors.
• Proficient in using IP databases (InPASS, WIPO, etc.) and MS Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple filings simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file statutory forms under the Indian Patents Act (e.g., Form 1, 2, 3, 5, 18, 26).
• Coordinate end-to-end filing for Indian patent applications (provisional, complete specifications, PCT national phase, and convention).
• Track and respond to FERs and IPO notices within timelines.
• Maintain IP records and deadlines using internal systems or docketing tools.
• Liaise with inventors, R&D teams, and external patent agents/attorneys for documentation.
• Conduct basic IP due diligence and assist with formalities check of applications.
