Job summary

Arctic Invent is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager - Drafting at our Noida office to lead patent drafting efforts for US, EP, and IN filings. The role requires independent drafting, claim creation, and supervising a small team of drafters.

You will interface with attorneys and inventors worldwide, ensuring high-quality patent applications while managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent patent drafting ability for US, EP, and IN applications.
• Draft claims and review claims for US, EP and IN jurisdictions.
• 4–5 years of drafting experience with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor's/Master's in Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical or CS engineering.
• Domain expertise in computer technologies and use of AI tools related to drafting is desirable.
• Experience in managing a team.
• Preferably a Patent Agent.

Responsibilities

• Draft patent applications independently, with strong claim and specification drafting.
• Draft and review claims for US, EP, and IN jurisdictions.
• Interact with attorneys and inventors across US/Europe/India.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff; manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Engage with external consultants as needed to ensure high-quality filings.

Requirements
