Purpose of the Job: The role's main purpose is to handle the technical aspects of patentapplications. The role may require directly interfacing with the inventor(s) tocapture novel aspects of the invention. Further, the role may require searchingcapability and delivering patentability search reports. The role also entailsteam coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understandingtechnical disclosures across different technical domains.
  


• Conductand oversee various types of patent searches, including novelty, invalidity,freedom-to-operate (FTO), landscape, state-of-the-art, and patentabilitysearches.
  


• Analyzetechnical information to generate innovative ideas for product and strategy.
  


• Identificationof key/novel features from technical disclosures.
  


• Reviewsearch reports and ensure high-quality and accurate deliverables
  


• Executingpatent landscape studies.
  


• Technicalsupport on client calls explaining outcome to the clients or inventors
  


• Workingon different patent databases, in addition, to performing searches on Google,Google Scholar, Google patents, IEEE, ACM, Espacenet, and FreepatentsonlineOrbit, Patseer, etc. Knowledge of patent classification.
  


• Tohandle any other reasonable task as specified by management.
  

Requirements

• B-techin CSE, ECE or another related domain with a minimum of 2 years of hands-onexperience in patent searching (FTO/ validity/Invalidity ) , and analytics.
  


• Strongknowledge of patent search methodologies.
  


• Excellentwritten and oral communication skills to interact effectively with clients andteams.
  


• Proficiencyin MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  


• Knowledgeof AI tools in the market which can be utilized to increase productivity
