Job summary

Augmont Goldtech is seeking an experienced Inventory Executive to manage and reconcile the inventory of gold jewellery, coins, bullion, and other precious metal products in Mumbai. The role requires meticulous stock control, accurate records, and secure handling of high-value inventory.

The candidate will collaborate with QC, procurement, sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure precise stock movements, regular audits, and adherence to security protocols.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in inventory/stock management, preferably in gold, jewellery, bullion, or precious metals.
• Good knowledge of gold jewellery, coins, bullion, purity, karatage, weight, and basic valuation concepts.
• Experience in physical stock verification and reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inventory of gold jewellery, coins, bullion, and other precious metal products.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement, receipts, transfers, issues, and dispatches.
• Verify physical stock against system records and identify discrepancies.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Coordinate with QC, procurement, sales, operations, and finance teams for inventory-related activities.
• Ensure proper tagging, documentation, storage, and movement of precious metal inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory reports.
• Investigate inventory variances and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Maintain proper documentation and support internal/external stock audits.
• Ensure adherence to inventory control processes and security protocols.
