Job summary

Penguin Petroleum Services (P) Ltd is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee all inventories of raw materials, finished goods, and consumables. You will ensure accurate preservation, receipt, and issue of inventory to support other departments.

You will lead a team of storekeepers and assistants, implement best practices in store activities, develop procedures, and provide regular reports to senior management, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in inventory management and implementation of procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Preservation and Receipt: Ensure effective preservation and receipt of inventory, maintaining optimal storage conditions.
  • Issuance and Usage: Oversee the issuance of inventory to various departments based on their requirements.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Implement and maintain best practices in inventory management and store activities.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and manage a team of storekeepers and assistants, fostering a culture of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Inventory Management Procedures: Develop and implement inventory management procedures and practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, usage, and other key metrics to senior management.
  • Compliance: Ensure all inventory management activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Preferred candidate profile
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in managing and implementing inventory management procedures and practices.
  • Education : Bachelors Degree in any filed.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of inventory management best practices and procedures.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
