Job summary

Food Whisperer in Pune is seeking a Store Executive to manage inventory, maintain stock accuracy, and ensure smooth inward and outward material movement across kitchens and operations.

You will record GRNs, update stock registers, monitor wastage, and coordinate with procurement and vendors while following FIFO/FEFO and hygiene norms per FSSAI guidelines. The role also requires attention to detail, strong organization, and forecasting stock needs for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Store Executive / Store Keeper / Inventory Executive.
• Knowledge of inventory management and stock handling.
• Experience in F&B / central kitchen / warehouse preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Excel or inventory management systems.
• Good organizational and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records and monitor levels; follow FIFO/FEFO for stock rotation.
• Inward & Outward Handling: Receive goods, verify against purchase orders, and manage daily material issuance.
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain GRNs and stock registers; update inventory systems; track wastage and discrepancies.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure quality checks for received materials and uphold hygiene/storage standards (FSSAI).
• Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, vendors, and kitchen teams; assist in demand planning and stock forecasting.

The Store Executive will be responsible for managing inventory, stock handling, inward and outward material movement, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires strong attention to detail, coordination with kitchen and procurement teams, and ensuring proper stock control to support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records (raw materials, packaging, consumables)
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Follow FIFO/FEFO methods for stock rotation

2. Inward & Outward Handling

• Handle receiving of goods and verify against purchase orders
• Ensure proper storage of materials as per standards
• Manage daily issuance of materials to kitchen/operations

3. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain GRNs, stock registers, and inventory reports
• Update inventory systems (Excel/ERP) regularly
• Track wastage and discrepancies

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure quality checks for received materials
• Maintain hygiene and storage standards as per FSSAI guidelines

5. Coordination

• Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and kitchen team
• Support in demand planning and stock forecasting
