Job summary

Mamaearth in Bengaluru seeks an inventory specialist to manage daily stock of salon products, consumables, tools and supplies. You will maintain receipts, issues, transfers and returns, and perform frequent stock counts to reconcile with the system.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with suppliers and salon teams to ensure timely availability and proper storage of inventory. Compliance with policies is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory and stock levels of salon products, consumables, tools, and supplies.
• Maintain records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
• Monitor min/max stock levels and raise purchase requirements on time.
• Coordinate with suppliers for orders, deliveries, replacements, and discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory items.
• Track product consumption and identify stock variances, damages, shortages, or wastage.
• Maintain inventory records and update stock transactions in the designated system.
• Prepare regular inventory reports for management.
• Coordinate with salon teams to ensure timely availability of required products and consumables.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure appropriate utilization of near-expiry products.
• Support monthly and periodic stock audits.
• Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.
