Job summary

RackBank is seeking an Inventory Executive in Indore to support procurement and inventory management of IT and data center equipment. You will coordinate with vendors, maintain precise records, and assist with purchase processes to ensure smooth material availability for data center operations.

The role involves collaborating with engineering, operations, and finance teams to manage procurement activities, asset tracking, and vendor documentation while ensuring adherence to internal processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 0-2 years experience preferred but freshers welcome.
• Basic understanding of IT hardware or data center equipment.
• Strong MS Excel skills; ERP/inventory tools exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procurement of IT inventory including servers, networking devices, storage, racks, cables, and peripherals.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, asset tagging, stock movement, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and invoicing.
• Support vendor onboarding, documentation, and compliance checks.
• Track warranty, AMC, and renewal schedules for IT assets; collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams.
• Support cost comparisons, negotiations, and vendor evaluations.
• Maintain procurement trackers, reports, and dashboards using Excel or ERP tools.
• Ensure adherence to internal procurement processes and audit requirements.
