Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Execution: Manage daily on-site operations for residential interior fit-out projects, ensuring adherence to designs, timelines, and budgets.
• Process Management: Oversee all stages of the fit-out process, including civil work, MEP, HVAC coordination, carpentry, painting, and finishes.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Bridge between architects, interior designers, clients, and on-site teams to resolve design clashes and ensure seamless implementation.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Supervise sub-contractors, laborers, and material suppliers; ensure quality and safety standards.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Conduct daily site inspections to ensure premium residential standards.
• Timeline & Budget Tracking: Create and maintain detailed project schedules; identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Snagging & Handover: Lead final snagging and de-snagging for zero-defect handover.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Interior Fit-Out Manager to lead premium residential projects across Mumbai. In this on-site role, you will be the driving force behind transforming bare-shell spaces into high-end, fully finished homes. You will take ownership of the entire fit-out lifecycle—from initial site mobilization to final handover—ensuring that design intent is executed flawlessly, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Execution: Manage daily on-site operations for residential interior fit-out projects, ensuring strict adherence to the approved designs, timelines, and budgets.
• Process Management: Oversee all stages of the fit-out process, including civil work, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), HVAC coordination, carpentry, painting, and final finishes.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary bridge between architects, interior designers, clients, and on-site execution teams to resolve design clashes and ensure seamless implementation.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Supervise sub-contractors, laborers, and material suppliers. Ensure everyone meets quality standards and follows site safety protocols.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Conduct rigorous daily site inspections to ensure all materials and workmanship meet premium residential standards.
• Timeline & Budget Tracking: Create and maintain detailed project schedules (e.g., Gantt charts, daily progress reports). Proactively identify risks or delays and implement corrective measures.
• Snagging & Handover: Lead the final snagging and de-snagging processes, ensuring a zero-defect handover to the client.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in interior project management, with a mandatory and proven track record in residential fit-outs (villas, luxury apartments, etc.).
• Technical Expertise: Exceptional understanding of the complete interior fit-out lifecycle, sequence of works, and technical dependencies (e.g., knowing exactly when MEP routing needs to happen before ceiling closures).
• Local Market Knowledge: Strong existing network of reliable vendors, contractors, and suppliers across Mumbai.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in English, Hindi, and ideally Marathi, with the ability to communicate effectively with both high-net-worth clients and site laborers.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and resolve on-site execution challenges without compromising the design vision.
• Education: A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction Management is preferred.
