Job summary

Role Description

The Interior Designer will work on-site in Vadodara in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and execution of residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, developing design concepts and layouts, preparing detailed drawings and presentations, and selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E. The role involves coordinating with contractors and vendors, supervising site work to ensure design intent is maintained, and adjusting plans based on practical constraints and client feedback. The Interior Designer will collaborate closely with the studio owner and team to ensure projects align with MM Interior Studio's aesthetic, functional, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional and aesthetically balanced layouts.


• Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to prepare or interpret technical plans and details.


• Experience with FF\u0027E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.


• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.


• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.


• Strong visual communication skills, including mood boards, material boards, and client presentations.


• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors.


• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to stay updated on design trends and materials.
