Job summary

Plenara Interior Studio, Jaipur, is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to translate client brief into spatial concepts, develop layouts, and produce detailed drawings and presentations for residential and commercial projects.

You will conduct site visits, collaborate with architects and contractors, select finishes, manage FF&E, and present proposals through completion while maintaining design intent and quality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Jaipur. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, create layouts and prepare detailed drawings and presentations for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site visits, collaborating with architects and contractors, selecting finishes and furnishings, and coordinating FF&E specifications. The role also involves client meetings to understand requirements, presenting design proposals and supporting project execution from initial concept through completion, ensuring design intent and quality standards are met.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, well-balanced layouts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to interpret plans and produce accurate technical documentation.
• Candidates should possess skills in FF&E to select and coordinate furniture, fixtures and equipment aligned with project concepts and budgets.
• Proficiency with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Strong visual, creative and conceptual abilities, with attention to detail and material finishes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, vendors and project teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field, with relevant project experience.
