Role Description

The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing mood boards and material palettes, coordinating FF&E selections, and producing construction and working drawings under guidance. The role involves collaborating with senior designers and architects, communicating with vendors, and participating in site visits to monitor design implementation and quality. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring close coordination with project teams to meet timelines and design standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to contribute to functional and aesthetically coherent project layouts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to support technical detailing and documentation for execution.
• Candidates should possess skills in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and coordination to align materials, finishes, and furnishings with design intent and budget.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong visual, conceptual, and design communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to follow design guidelines.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate within a team, manage time effectively, and adapt to multiple project types.
• Prior internship or 1–2 years of experience in interior design or architectural firms is an advantage.
