Job summary

Fast Building, Ahmedabad-based interior design firm, is seeking an on-site Interior Designer to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetically aligned concepts. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop space plans, prepare detailed layouts, coordinate with architects and contractors, and produce construction drawings.

The role also involves FF&E selection and ensuring designs are implemented accurately on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform effective space planning and develop comprehensive interior design solutions.
• Understanding of architecture principles and coordination with architectural teams.
• Proficiency in creating detailed construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience with FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
• Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work on site in Ahmedabad, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and manage timelines.
• Knowledge of current design trends, building materials, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Role Description
