Qualifications

Role Description

The Interior Designer will work full time on-site at Studio Inside Out’s office in Vadodara, collaborating closely with architects and project teams to develop concept designs and detailed interior layouts. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting finishes and materials, preparing presentations and mood boards, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) choices that align with project requirements. The role involves producing and reviewing construction drawings, ensuring design intent is accurately translated into built form, and supporting site visits to monitor progress and quality. The Interior Designer will communicate with vendors and contractors, assist in project documentation, and contribute to design reviews and client meetings. This role requires consistent coordination, design problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spatial design, including strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
• Foundational understanding of Architecture and its relationship to interior environments.
Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation, including Construction Drawings.
• Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• Comfort with design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools).
• Strong visual communication skills, including presentations, mood boards, and material palettes.
• Effective collaboration, time management, and attention to detail in a studio setting.
• Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects is an advantage.
