Job summary

Role Description

The Interior Designer will work full time on-site at Artyss Design Studio in Bengaluru, collaborating closely with clients and the design team to develop interiors that are both functional and visually compelling. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to assess needs and preferences, creating design concepts and mood boards, and planning layouts that optimize space usage. The role involves preparing construction drawings, selecting finishes and furnishings, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and overseeing implementation to ensure design integrity. The Interior Designer will also liaise with contractors and vendors, manage timelines, and ensure that projects adhere to quality, budget, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E selection, with an eye for materials, colors, and finishes.
• Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning, ensuring efficient, ergonomic, and visually balanced layouts.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read and produce technical plans.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic project coordination skills.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with prior studio, residential, or similar design experience preferred.
• Strong client communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work on-site with cross-functional teams.
