Job summary

Tvasttr Architects in Ahmedabad invites an experienced Interior Designer to join our studio on a full-time, on-site basis. You will collaborate with architects and design peers to develop interior concepts and detailed design solutions.

Your day-to-day includes creating space plans, mood boards, material palettes, and preparing drawings, layouts, and presentations. You will coordinate FF&E selections with vendors and support site visits to ensure the design intent is realized across projects.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design and architecture skills integrating concepts with spatial design.
• Space planning with layout optimization and functional zoning.
• Construction drawings: detailed plans, sections, elevations for execution.
• FF&E: selection, specification, and coordination of furniture, fixtures, equipment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or similar; strong design/drafting tools.
• Strong visual communication, detail-oriented, able to translate concepts into clear docs.
• Studio collaboration, multi-project management, meeting deadlines.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design or Architecture; prior studio or site experience preferred.

Role Description

The Interior Designer will work full time on‑site at our Ahmedabad studio, collaborating with architects and design team members to develop interior concepts and detailed design solutions. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include creating space plans, mood boards, and material palettes; preparing drawings, layouts, and presentations; and coordinating FF&E selections such as furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The role involves working with project teams to refine designs based on client feedback, assisting with construction drawings and documentation, and supporting site visits to ensure design intent is executed. The Interior Designer will also liaise with vendors and contractors, maintain project timelines, and contribute to a cohesive, modern design language across all projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to integrate interior concepts with overall spatial design.
• Candidates should possess Space Planning skills, including layout optimization and functional zoning of residential and commercial spaces.
• Candidates should possess Construction Drawings skills, including the ability to prepare detailed plans, sections, and elevations for execution.

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior studio or site experience is preferred.
