Job summary

Adarsha Interiors, Bengaluru-based turnkey interior design firm, seeks a Senior Interior Designer to lead projects end-to-end from concept to handover. You will engage with clients, develop design concepts, prepare drawings and presentations, and coordinate with site and production teams to ensure delivery.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of professional interior design experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. Residential and commercial project exposure is a plus.

Adarsha Interiors is a Bengaluru-based turnkey interior design and execution company specializing in residential, villa, office, retail and commercial interiors.

Founded in 2015, we work across the complete project journey—from space planning and design development to material selection, custom furniture manufacturing, site execution, installation and handover.

With in-house manufacturing capabilities and a hands-on design and execution team, we focus on creating practical, thoughtfully designed and well-finished spaces.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer who can independently handle interior projects from concept development through execution.

The ideal candidate should be confident working with clients, developing design concepts, preparing drawings and presentations, coordinating with site and production teams, and taking ownership of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead residential, villa, office and commercial interior design projects.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into functional design concepts.
• Develop space plans, layouts, mood boards and design presentations.
• Prepare and review working drawings, detailed drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate material, finish, furniture and fixture selections.
• Work closely with clients, project managers, site teams, vendors and the manufacturing team.
• Conduct site visits and resolve design-related execution issues.
• Monitor design quality, timelines and project requirements.
• Coordinate modular kitchen, wardrobe and custom furniture requirements with production.
• Review drawings and guide junior designers where required.
• Participate in client presentations and project discussions from concept through handover.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 4+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Strong experience in residential interiors; office/commercial project experience is an advantage.
• Strong space planning and design-development skills.
• Good understanding of working drawings, joinery details, materials and interior execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; knowledge of additional visualization/design software is an advantage.
• Experience coordinating with clients, vendors, production teams and site teams.
• Good understanding of modular kitchens, wardrobes and custom furniture.
• Strong communication, presentation and project-coordination skills.
• Ability to independently handle multiple projects and priorities.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline preferred.
• Portfolio of completed interior design work is required.
