Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing interior design schemes for residential and commercial projects, aligning designs with client preferences, budget, and functional needs. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, creating mood boards, selecting materials and finishes, preparing construction and detail drawings, and coordinating FF&E selections. The role involves collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and vendors, overseeing on-site execution to ensure design accuracy and quality standards. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, present design proposals, and support project management activities from concept through completion.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills to develop cohesive concepts and functional layouts.
• Candidates should possess Space Planning skills to optimize room usage, circulation, and ergonomics.
• Candidates should possess Construction Drawings skills to produce accurate plans, sections, and details for implementation.
• Candidates should possess FF&E skills to select and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with design intent and budget.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with material specifications.
• Strong visual, creative, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and interact effectively with clients and site teams.
• Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in India, particularly in Bengaluru, is an added advantage.
