Role Description

The Interior Designer at STUDIO BILAANG will be responsible for developing design concepts, space plans, and detailed interior layouts for commercial and residential projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring that designs are executed according to quality, timeline, and budget requirements. The role involves creating presentations, mood boards, and material palettes, conducting site visits, and overseeing on-site implementation to maintain design intent and functional performance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional and aesthetic solutions.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles and coordination with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Proficiency in developing and reading Construction Drawings, including detailed layouts and technical documentation.
• Experience in FF&E selection, specification, and procurement, with attention to quality, durability, and design coherence.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and presentation tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior experience in commercial and residential projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high design standards in a fast-paced studio environment.
