Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Preventive / Predictive Maintenance To Jointly analyze problems & defects of past year, prepare & implement preventive maintenance schedule, update m/c parameter checklist, allocate & supervise work, prepare material requisition & resolve work permit & handover to production after maintenance. IN ORDER to identify & resolve potential problems in m/cs.
• Break down Maintenance - Receive intimation/breakdown memo, understand, analyze & attend to break downs, take corrective action, decide on team, allocate work & instruct on actions, conduct trial & handover to production IN ORDER TO ensure quickly start the machine & reduce machine down time.
• Spares & Consumables - Review & update spares ROL/ROQ, identify need of spares, prepare requisition, seek approval of supervisor; Check the spares received and certify quality; IN ORDER TO ensure availability of spares & no stoppage of m/c

Preferred candidate profile

• Quality Systems - Execute activities as per defined quality systems; Maintain history cards of equipments & maintenance related ISO records in order to demonstrate compliance to organizations quality systems.
• Safety, Housekeeping & Environment - Check adherence to safety and housekeeping norms by workmen on safety practices; issue work permit for Hot, cold related work; Communicate to supervisor IN ORDER TO ensure compliance to safety of employees & good housekeeping.

TPM / RC - Implementation of TPM activities in the area suggested by HOD.
