Job summary

Apcotex Industries in Navi Mumbai is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead preventive and predictive maintenance across plant equipment, align with TPM guidelines, and reduce downtime. You will analyze failures, prepare maintenance checklists, and supervise a team to ensure smooth production.

Candidates should hold a Diploma or BE in Electrical, possess a supervisory license, and have familiarity with ISO quality documentation, safety practices, and spares management.

Qualifications

• Diploma Electrical or BE Electrical with relevant maintenance experience.
• Supervisory license is mandatory.
• Experience with TPM and ISO quality records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preventive / Predictive maintenance planning and execution.
• Break down maintenance to reduce machine downtime and resolve issues.
• Spares and consumables management to ensure no stoppages.
• Maintain quality system records and ISO documentation for compliance.
• Arrange statutory testing/inspections for equipment as required.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Preventive / Predictive Maintenance - Jointly analyze problems & defects of past year, prepare & implement preventive maintenance schedule, update m/c parameter checklist, allocate & supervise work, prepare material requisition & resolve work permit & handover to production after maintenance in order to identify & resolve potential problems in m/cs.
• Break down Maintenance - Receive intimation/breakdown memo, understand, analyze & attend to break downs, take corrective action, decide on team, allocate work & instruct on actions, conduct trial & handover to production in order to ensure quickly start the machine & reduce machine down time. To generate detailed Failure Analysis Report of breakdown.
• Spares & Consumables - Review & update spares ROL/ROQ, identify need of spares, prepare requisition, seek approval of supervisor; Check the spares received and certify quality in order to ensure availability of spares & no stoppage of m/c.
• Quality Systems - Execute activities as per defined quality systems ; Maintain history cards of equipments & maintenance related ISO records in order to demonstrate compliance to organizations quality systems.
• Statutory Compliance - Arrange for the statutory testing / inspections of equipments in order to comply with mandatory norms.

Implementation of TPM activities in the area suggested by HOD.
