Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro in Chennai, India seeks an instrumentation and control engineer to design and develop instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes. The role involves installation, testing, calibration of sensors, transmitters, analyzers and control valves, plus ensuring continuous operation.

You will troubleshoot instrumentation, work with PLC, DCS, SCADA, prepare technical docs, uphold safety standards and coordinate with electrical, mechanical and process teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of process instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature).
• Experience with PLC, DCS and SCADA systems.
• Ability to install, test and calibrate instruments and control valves.
• Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications and documentation.
