Job summary

AP Management Consultants seeks an experienced automation engineer in Tamil Nadu to design, install, commission and maintain PLC & SCADA systems. You will program, troubleshoot and modify PLC logic and SCADA screens while calibrating field instruments and documenting control logic and diagrams.

Role requires hands-on calibration, panel wiring, loop checking and the ability to handle breakdowns independently, coordinating with production and maintenance teams for plant upgrades.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in PLC & SCADA (mandatory).
• Knowledge of DCS systems will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on exposure to calibration, panel wiring, loop checking and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of PLC & SCADA systems.
• Programming, troubleshooting and modification of PLC logic and SCADA screens.
• Maintenance and calibration of field instruments: pressure, flow, level, temperature transmitters, analysers, control valves.
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshooting automation, electrical and control system issues.
• Documentation of control logic, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams and SOPs.
• Coordination with production, maintenance and engineering teams.
• Support plant automation projects and system upgrades.
