Job summary

Paracoat Products Ltd. in India is seeking a quality inspector to monitor line and process performance, perform first-piece to last-piece approvals, and support production with rigorous quality checks.

You will use precision tools and SAP logs to ensure dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T are met. Responsibilities include identifying NCRs, leading root cause analysis with 5 Whys, Fishbone, and 8D, coordinating corrective actions, and maintaining PFMEA, control plans, and calibration records while

Qualifications

• Line & process monitoring and approvals (FOA, MOA, LOA).
• Inspection with precision tools ( Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, CMM).
• Defect control, NCRs, log rejections in SAP or similar systems.
• Root cause analysis using 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D.
• CAPA coordination with production teams.
• Maintain inspection check-sheets, PFMEA compliance, calibration logs.
• Train and guide line operators on quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Check critical dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T using precision tools and CMM.
• Identify non-conforming parts, issue NCRs, tag/segregate defective stock, log rejections in SAP.
• Lead or assist RCA using 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and 8D.
• Coordinate with production to implement immediate shop-floor countermeasures and long-term CAPAs.
• Maintain inspection check-sheets, control plans, PFMEA compliance, and calibration logs.
• Train and guide line operators on quality check standards and visual work instructions.

• Inspection & Measurement: Check critical dimensions, tolerances, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) using precision tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMM. [1]
• Defect Control & Segregation: Identify non-conforming parts, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), tag/segregate defective stock, and log rejections in enterprise systems like SAP. [1]
• Root Cause & Problem Solving: Lead or assist in root cause analysis (RCA) using core quality and problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and 8D. [1]
• Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA): Coordinate with production teams to implement immediate shop-floor countermeasures and long-term CAPAs. [1]
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain inspection check-sheets, control plans, PFMEA compliance, and calibration logs for measuring equipment. [1]
• Operator Guidance: Train and guide line operators and assembly staff on quality check standards and visual work instructions. [1]
