Paracoat Products Ltd. is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector responsible for ensuring product conformity on the shop floor. You will perform first-piece and patrol inspections, verify process parameters, and maintain calibration records while following IATF 16949/ISO 9001 standards.

You will lead CAPA activities, support PFMEA updates, and drive continuous improvement via Kaizen and 5S. Training operators and sustaining SPC charts are core duties in this role.

Qualificações

• Experience applying IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 on the shop floor.
• Ability to read gauges/instruments; ensure calibration and support MSA (GR&R) studies.
• Proficient in CAPA, LPA, and process audits.
• Experience leading line-level inspection and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Process monitoring and inspection

• Carry out first-piece, last-piece, and patrol inspections according to the control plan and inspection standards.
• Verify process parameters (temperature, pressure, torque, speed, cycle time, etc.) against the defined specifications.
• Make sure work instructions, SOPs, and inspection standards are available, current, and being followed at each workstation.
• Approve setups after tool changes, die changes, or machine breakdowns before production resumes.

Non-conformance handling

• Identify, tag, segregate, and contain non-conforming material on the line.
• Lead line-level problem solving using 5-Why, Fishbone (Ishikawa), and Why-Why analysis.
• Raise and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) until they are verified as effective.
• Coordinate rework and repair activities and get them approved.

Data and statistical control

• Maintain inspection records, check sheets, and rejection/rework data.
• Monitor SPC charts and process capability (Cp, Cpk) for critical characteristics.
• Prepare daily and monthly quality reports, including PPM, rejection Pareto, and line-wise quality performance.

Systems and compliance

• Support implementation and upkeep of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 requirements on the shop floor.
• Contribute to PFMEA, control plan, and process flow diagram updates.
• Verify and control Poka-Yoke (error-proofing) devices and keep their verification records.
• Ensure gauges and instruments in use are calibrated and support MSA studies (GR&R).
• Take part in internal audits, process audits, layered process audits (LPA), and product audits.

Team and continuous improvement

• Train operators and line inspectors on quality standards, defect identification, and inspection methods.
• Drive quality improvement projects and support Kaizen, 5S, and quality circle initiatives.
• Provide input on customer complaints and help implement line-level countermeasures.ties
