Job summary

Huhtamaki India Limited is seeking a skilled printing professional to join our shift team. The role focuses on shade matching, ink preparation coordination, and ensuring steady production flow while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a DPT diploma or BSc in chemistry with extensive experience in printing processes, ERP data entry, and team leadership. This position requires shift work and a commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• DPT diploma or BSc chemistry with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Willing to work in shifts and have no colour blindness.
• Experience in printing processes, ink and solvent management, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Shade matching and approval of shade.
• Coordinate with vendor workers during shifts for ink preparation.
• Ensure smooth printing with ink and solvent availability; manage inventory of inks and solvents.
• Lead the shift team and ensure safety during the shift.
• Update data in ERP and logbook; maintain records.
• Provide on-the-job training to juniors and ensure quality parameters.
• Provide technical support to the printing team.

Implements production methods and procedures to manufacture a variety of production quantities from various materials at competitive cost. Provides technical shop floor support e.g. in the areas of machining, programming, fabrication and assembly.

• Ensure smooth working of Printing process with ink & solvent availability.
• Inventory management (inks & solvents).
• Lead the team during the shift

• Data updation in ERP and logbook
• Provide On The Job training to the juniors
• Ensure quality parameters
• Provide technical support to the printing team.

Candidate with DPT diploma or BSc chemist with over all relevant experience of 7 years, ready to work in shifts with NO colour blindness.
