Responsibilities

  • Prepare and record monthly journal entries and accruals in accordance with GAAP.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet flux analyses and investigate variances.
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
  • Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial reports and statements.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data; identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support external audits by providing documentation and explanations as requested.
  • Maintain and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, tax, and operations.

This position is for our Indian Office in Mumbai. We are only accepting applications from Indian residents.

This position requires to work in shifts. The shift timing could vary from 1 PM - 10 PM to 4 PM - 2 AM IST.

  • Knowledge of lease accounting, revenue recognition, or cost accounting.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Any other undergraduate degree with an equivalent level of work experience at a top consulting firm, hedge fund, private equity firm, global bank, or industry service provider.
  • Chartered Accountant CPA or CPA candidate a plus.
