Responsibilities - This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer
- Oversee daily accounting operations: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, revenue recognition.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and safeguard assets.
- Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
- Lead month-end close processes, ensuring reconciliations and journal entries are completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with financial and healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with FP&A.
- Identify and implement process improvements, system upgrades, and automation.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Manage Lease Accounting.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related; CPA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
- Experience in healthcare industry preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, healthcare billing, and revenue cycle principles.
- Experience with ERP systems like NetSuite or Sage Intacct.
- Leadership, communication, and team development skills.

Educational Requirements
