This position requires individual to work hybrid hours - especially during month-end period close when the individual will be expected to work EST hours.

Responsibilities - This position reports to Chief Financial Officer
  • Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and safeguard assets.
  • Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
  • Lead the monthly close process and ensure all reconciliations and journal entries are completed accurately and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with FP&A.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, systems upgrades, and automation opportunities.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
  • Manage Lease Accounting.
Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., provider, diagnostics, multisite, managed care) preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, healthcare billing and revenue cycle principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct).
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
