Human Development & Research Foundation is seeking an Import Manager to oversee end-to-end import operations, coordinating with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of imported materials.

The role requires managing import documentation, ensuring DGFT/GST compliance, and optimizing logistics costs while working closely with procurement, finance, and operations to maintain efficient supply chains.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, supply chain management, international business, logistics, or related field.
• Import-Export Management certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Import Management: Manage the complete import process from purchase order placement to final delivery, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.
• International Procurement: Source materials, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with overseas vendors, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Customs Clearance: Coordinate with CHAs and freight forwarders; manage documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, etc.) and ensure timely payment of duties and taxes.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records; ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, and GST regulations.
• Logistics & Shipment Coordination: Optimize freight costs and track shipments via shipping lines and transporters.
• Cost Management: Analyze import costs (freight, duty, insurance) and prepare MIS reports.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams and external logistics partners to resolve discrepancies.

Job Summary
