Go Gauge Logistics is seeking an Import/Export Operations Manager in Mumbai to oversee end-to-end freight movements, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize processes with carriers and vendors. The role requires strong documentation, customs, and shipment handling expertise within a dynamic logistics environment.

The ideal candidate will coordinate across shipping lines, freight forwarders, and CHA while maintaining stringent records and achieving timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics/international trade or related field.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
• Experience in import/export operations and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import/export operations end-to-end with carriers, CHA, and suppliers.
• Prepare and verify documents like BL, Invoice, Packing List, COOs, Certificates.
• Handle customs clearance and regulatory compliance for shipments.
• Monitor shipment status and provide updates to clients and internal teams.
• Negotiate rates with shipping lines and vendors for cost efficiency.
• Plan logistics including routing, consolidation, and scheduling.
• Maintain relationships with overseas agents and partners.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and escalations.
• Ensure proper records per SOPs and statutory norms.
• Prepare KPI reports and analyze performance metrics.

The Import/Export Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, smooth cargo movement, and timely delivery.
