Job summary

Amanzi Logistics LLP is seeking a meticulous Senior Customs & Documentation Executive to manage end-to-end customs clearance and documentation for imports and exports. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth cargo movement.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on customs regulations and policies.
• Ensure compliance with local and international trade laws.
• Obtain an accurate checklist and verify all documents to avoid errors and compliance issues.
• Identify missing documents and potential issues related to customs regulations.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely customs documentation for import and export shipments.
• Prepare exemption documents for importation processes.
• Administer import procedures and related documentation.
• Manage customs documentation for clearing and forwarding.
• Coordinate with an accredited clearing agent for goods clearance at the destination.
• Liaise with the shipping company on consignment-related matters.
• Coordinate with port authorities for vessel handling requirements.
• Manage the movement of consignments to the final destination.
• Ensure proper storage of import documentation, such as certificates and customs bonds.
• Prepare and share daily progress reports with the reporting manager.
• Liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, Custom Authorities, Shipping Line, Ports / ICDs / CFS & Internal Divisions.
• Perform any other duties assigned by superior officers.
