Job Title
DGFT & Export Documentation Executive
Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented DGFT & Export Documentation Executive who has hands-on experience in using the DGFT Portal and managing import/export-related documentation. The candidate will be responsible for handling DGFT applications, maintaining export documentation, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely submission of required documents and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day activities on the DGFT Portal.
  • Prepare and submit applications, requests, and other documents through the DGFT Portal.
  • Manage IEC-related activities, including amendments and updates.
  • Handle documentation related to Advance Authorization, EPCG, RoDTEP, Export Promotion Schemes, and other DGFT-related matters.
  • Prepare and maintain export/import documentation and records.
  • Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, banks, customs agents, and government authorities as required.
  • Prepare and verify documents such as invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bills of lading/airway bills, certificates, and other export-related documents.
  • Maintain proper records of DGFT applications, approvals, licenses, authorizations, and supporting documents.
  • Track application status and ensure timely completion of pending DGFT-related activities.
  • Assist in resolving documentation discrepancies and DGFT-related queries.
  • Coordinate with the accounts/finance team regarding export documentation and banking requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation before submission.
  • Maintain proper filing and records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Stay updated with changes in DGFT rules, procedures, notifications, and export documentation requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in DGFT, export documentation, import-export operations, or international trade documentation.
  • Practical knowledge of the DGFT Portal is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
