Job summary

Renault Group in Chennai (RNTBCI PL) is seeking a hardware quality engineer to identify quality risks and contribute to the Hardware Quality Assurance Plan (KARTE). You will perform design reviews for ECU components, analyze electrical schematics, and ensure RNDS design rule compliance.

You will review environmental validation test specs, EMC/EMI reports, and support customers and suppliers on technical questions.

Responsibilities

• Identify quality risks for projects and participate in the Hardware Quality Assurance Plan (KARTE).
• Perform the component Design Review - ECU components quality and reliability in terms of AEC qualification, Temperature, ESD and lifecycle.
• Perform the Circuit Design Review - quality & reliability of circuit design; analyze electrical schematics and check RNDS design rules during development and serial phase.
• Review Environmental validation test specifications and test reports during development and serial phase.
• Review EMC/EMI validation test specifications and test reports during development and serial phase.
• OneVoice EE activities during RFQ for local and global projects.
• Component shortage crisis / obsolescence management.
• Attend technical meetings and customer reporting; support suppliers for technical questions.
• Design and develop hardware for different local projects; understand upcoming automotive hardware evolution and share with team members.
