Job summary

Renault Group in Chennai, India seeks an IT specialist with 9–10 years of deep experience in GKE, Kubernetes, and advanced networking. You will manage Shared VPCs, workload identity, and complex routing while ensuring robust TLS, mTLS, and service mesh operations. Strong debugging, monitoring, and CI/CD skills are essential.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, scalable designs, and cross-project permissions, contributing to Renault Group’s global infrastructure excellence.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with Shared VPCs, GKE, Workload Identity, Service Accounts, and Load Balancing (L4/L7, SNI, TLS termination).
• Proficiency in Kubernetes primitives, including Deployments, RBAC, Network Policies, Storage Classes, PVs, and PVCs.
• Expertise in GKE-specific networking, Pod and Service CIDR management.
• Strong understanding of Mutual TLS (mTLS), token-based authentication, and Root/Intermediate CA chains.
• Experience troubleshooting DNS split-horizon issues, proxy-only subnets, and cross-project artifact permissions.
• Ability to lead network design changes, including new connectivity models, PSC or PSA design, and complex routing.
• Hands-on capability for routine GKE and Istio troubleshooting and operational tasks.
• Experience with basic monitoring, dashboards, and initial incident triage.
• Proven track record using Jenkins for CI/CD and automation.
• Advanced skills in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm; monitoring with Grafana/Prometheus.
