Job summary

PERSOL in Pune, Maharashtra is seeking an experienced HVAC sales and estimation professional to drive projects from concept to close. You will conduct heat-load calculations, select VRF systems and chillers, and prepare technical submittals.

You will prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and coordinate with consultants and clients to obtain approvals, while negotiating contracts with the business development team and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• HVAC sales experience preferred.
• Experience in heat load calculations and equipment selection (VRF/Chillers).
• BOQ preparation and cost estimation experience.
• Ability to coordinate with clients and consultants.
• HVAC contracting background is a plus.
• Exposure to value engineering and latest HVAC technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct heat-load calculations and select HVAC equipment including VRF systems, chillers, pumps, and fans.
• Prepare technical submittals after contract award and coordinate with consultants and client approvals.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in HVAC projects.
• Meet with clients to understand project requirements and offer technical solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and sales proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales with the business development team.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and consultants.
• Study project drawings and tender documents to prepare cost estimates.
• Prepare accurate BOQs, cost breakdowns, and technical submittals.
• Liaise with suppliers for pricing of HVAC materials and equipment.
• Ensure estimations comply with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with design and execution teams for handover post-sales.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed heat-load calculations and select appropriate HVAC equipment including VRF systems, chillers, pumps, and fans.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive technical submittals after contract award, and coordinate with consultants and the client to obtain all necessary approvals.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in HVAC projects.
• Meet with clients to understand project requirements and offer technical solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and sales proposals.

Estimation Responsibilities

• Study project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare cost estimates.
• Prepare accurate BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost breakdowns, and technical submittals.
• Liaise with suppliers/vendors for accurate pricing of HVAC materials and equipment.
• Ensure all estimations are compliant with applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate with the design and execution teams for seamless handover post-sales.
