Job summary

Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions (HGPI) is seeking a competent Human Resource Manager to strengthen our HR systems and support institutional growth. The role covers policy development, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and staff development in Kala Amb, Himachal Pradesh.

The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of HR experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication skills to foster a positive and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management or equivalent required.
• 3–7 years of HR experience, preferably in educational institutions.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and labor laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies in line with institutional and regulatory requirements.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Handle onboarding, orientation, and employee documentation.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws and educational regulatory bodies.
• Manage payroll coordination, attendance, leave records, and employee database.
• Address employee grievances and ensure a positive work environment.
• Plan and execute employee engagement and retention strategies.
• Support management in performance appraisal and staff development initiatives.
