Job summary

Ishan Chandi Agro Industries in Purba Bardhaman is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage end-to-end recruitment for plant roles and oversee attendance, payroll inputs and statutory compliance.

The role requires handling a large blue-collar workforce and contract labour with strong MS Excel skills and fluency in Bengali and Hindi; on-site presence at the plant is required. You will also supervise onboarding, grievances, safety training, audit documentation, and monthly HR MIS.

Qualifications

• Graduate or MBA/PGDM in HR or related field.
• 25 years of HR/admin experience in a manufacturing, agro or food processing plant.
• Working knowledge of PF, ESI, bonus, gratuity and basic labour laws.
• Experience handling large blue-collar workforce and contract labour.
• Comfortable with MS Excel and attendance or payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment for plant roles (labour, supervisors, QC, maintenance, admin)
