Job Summary:
We are looking for an HR Executive to manage day-to-day HR operations at our manufacturing facility. The role will involve employee relations, recruitment, attendance, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, onboarding, and general HR administration, with a strong focus on supporting shop-floor employees and maintaining smooth HR operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manageend-to-end recruitment for plant/shop-floor and office-level positions.
- Source, screen, and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Handle employee onboarding, documentation, induction, and joining formalities.
- Maintain employee records, personal files, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
- Monitor daily attendance, shift schedules, overtime, and absenteeism.
- Coordinate with the payroll team for monthly salary processing, attendance inputs, deductions, and employee queries.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace issues in coordination with management.
- Support performance management, confirmation, transfers, and employee engagement activities.
- Coordinate with departments for manpower planning and workforce requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company HR policies.
- Coordinate statutory activities related to PF, ESI, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, Labour Welfare, etc.
- Maintain HR MIS and prepare regular reports related toheadcount, attendance, attrition, overtime, recruitment, and employee movements.
- Coordinate contract labour / manpower agency activities, documentation, and attendance where applicable.
- Support training, safety awareness, employee welfare, and engagement programs.
- Assist in factory audits, statutory inspections, and HR documentation.
- Ensure smooth coordination betweenemployees, supervisors, department heads, and management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing / factory environment.
- Good knowledge of HR operations, attendance, payroll, recruitment, and employee relations.
- Basic knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience handling shop-floor employees and contract labour will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and HRMS/ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
