Qualifications

  • Strong hospitality HR operations experience.
  • Proven ability to lead recruitment for hotel operations (F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping, etc.).
  • Knowledge of labour laws, payroll, PF/ESIC, gratuity and statutory compliance.
  • Experience with HRMS/MIS reporting and performance management.

The Senior HR Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the complete Human Resources function of the hotel/resort. The role requires strong experience in hospitality HR operations, talent acquisition, employee relations, statutory compliance, manpower planning, training coordination, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Strategy
Manage end-to-end HR operations for the hotel/resort.
Partner with the General Manager and HODs on manpower planning and business requirements.
Implement HR policies, procedures, and SOPs across all departments.
Ensure smooth coordination between HR and operational departments.
2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Lead end-to-end recruitment for hotel operations, including F&B, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, Engineering, Security, Spa, and other support functions.
Develop effective sourcing strategies and maintain a strong hospitality talent pipeline.
Coordinate with HODs for manpower requisitions, interviews, selection, and joining.
Monitor recruitment TAT, vacancies, and manpower reports.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
Conduct employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
Promote a positive, professional, and service-oriented work culture.
Conduct employee counselling and exit interviews where required.
4. Performance Management
Manage the performance appraisal and goal-setting process.
Coordinate with HODs to monitor employee performance.
Support performance improvement plans and career development initiatives.
Assist in succession planning and identification of high-potential employees.
5. Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
Oversee PF, ESIC, gratuity, minimum wages, bonus, and other statutory compliances.
Maintain employee records and documentation as per company and legal requirements.
Support internal and external HR audits.
6. Payroll & HR Administration
Verify attendance, leave, overtime, and other payroll inputs.
Coordinate with the payroll team for accurate and timely salary processing.
Monitor employee records, HRMS data, and personnel files.
Prepare monthly HR MIS, manpower reports, attrition reports, and other management reports.
